Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
iOS: FOOTAGE LOST WHEN EDITING
An issue on iOS when editing takes over 1 minute that results in the time code jumping. Meaning you lose the ability to edit those portions and they will be cut from the take.
UPDATE: This issue has been resolved in Version 1.2.9 released on August 1, 2020.
ANDROID: AUDIO SYNC ISSUE DUE TO EXTENDED ELECTRONIC SLATE
We are aware of an issue where the electronic slate becomes extended causing audio sync issues. This happens when all of the following criteria are met:
1) The first take of the selftapes has been edited.
2) Only the beginning of that take was trimmed.
3) The take was saved via "Overwrite".
Also, if you place a take that has been edited via "Overwrite" 2nd, 3rd, or 4th, etc it is possible the selftape will jump when it hits that part of the selftape.
TEMPORARY WORKAROUND: When saving your edit select "Create New" and use that new take instead of overwriting the existing take.
This page will be updated once the issue has been resolved.
